Top Five Favorite Grays

No, gray is not trendy. No, gray will never go out of style.  Gray rules. It’s at once neutral and moody, feminine and masculine. Here are my top five:

2to5-Whitestone-composit BM Whitestone 2134-60: The prettiest bedroom color period. Whitestone was used as the wall color for this teenage girl’s room. It’s soft without being too sweet.

2to5-Horizon-composit BM Horizon OC-53: Soft yet interesting. Horizon is the perfect neutral for this bathroom with Carrara tile floors.

2to5-Downpipe-composit F&B Downpipe: When you need to go deep.

Revere-Pewter-HC-172

BM Revere Pewter HC-172 (even better cut in half 50%) – The perfect warm gray.

Kendall-Charcoal-HC-166

BM Kendall Charcoal HC-166. A good substitute for Downpipe.

I’m trying to choose between SW Online cut down to 75 or 50 percent and BM Whitestone for my 7 year old son’s small bedroom. It has two windows for lots of natural light, but the room is very small. We’re using Star Wars Pottery Barn bedding that is a deep grayish green base color with navy trim. I want the wall color to have depth, but not be too dark or too babyish and faint. Lots of criteria! Any thoughts on Whitestone in a little boy’s room? Does it have a rich look? Thank you I’m confused lol!
