The Perfect Dining Chair

Clearly I have an obsession with Michael Thonet and bentwood chairs.  Forever a classic, they have graced many 2to5 residential and restaurant dining rooms and have never illicited a complaint. They’re simple enough to work in any environment, beautiful enough to demand attention, yet diminuitive enough to cram at a table when the masses descend.

Although authentic finds from 1stdibs are always fun, the Era chair from DWR, the Vienna chair from Crate and Barrel and the Hairpin chair from Fashion Seating are priced right and perfect every time.
